New art
So I tried some grey wash stuff. I tested out two different different types of bristol board and so I did the same drawing twice…well did make a few changes.Here are the pencil drawings.

I'm not dead...just working
Well working on art. So I’ll be posting some art either later today or tomorrow. I’m testing out different paper to see how well it stands up to watercolor washes(well actually gouache). I used some 500 strathmore comic pages and it worked out well, I thought that the actual picture could use some work though and so I’m doing it again on some other comic pages.

I don't identify as a nerd.
I wonder at which point did claiming to be a “nerd” or “geek” become some badge of honor. When did it become cool? Because when I was 15, collecting comics,reading fantasy/scifi/escapist type stuff,playing Warhammer 40K,AD&D(first ed. of course) going to comic and sci fi cons was just a way of life.I forgot playing arcade and computer games.

I give up....
I will never have the time or energy to keep up with tumblr. Its so easy to miss stuff. I went and go married and when I came back I just knew that I’d never catch up. And now I feel like its way too easy to waste time on tumblr. SO I’m going to limit my tumblr time to like 1 hr a day.

i had thought that the new spiderman was (technically) just an ultimatization of Spiderman 2099 who was hispanic. If you didnt rampage in the streets over that then its stupid to do it now. What I’m waiting on is Ultimate Mexican Wolverine.
