The Glory revamp gets the official endorsement. This comic is like everything that you wanted out of a superhero/sci-fi comic but so rarely get. I can’t say enough good words about this book. The art is awesome, the writing is just as awesome as the art too. I’ll be reading more of Joe Keatinge’s work in the future. He is not mediocre like so many other comic book writers that the Big Two employ. Its been a long time since I found a comicbook writer who can write a fun story.
Remember that name Joe Keatinge. And Ross Campbell also rose to a new level on this book. Its been a few years since I read anything that he did…I think the first Mountain Girl thing he put out was it as a matter of fact.
I need to get some of his art before it goes up in price.
If you don’t like this comic…you don’t like fun.
This comic is a perfect collaboration, if you didn’t see that the writer and the artist were two separate people you would think they were the same person because the storytelling is seamless.
And while the amazing art draws you in, its the story that keeps you reading. This story is relevant and fresh…unlike the stuff that I pick up from Marvel and DC from time to time.
Okay stop reading this and head to your local library if you are broke like me or go to amazon or better yet your local comicshop and get this trade.
Its a fucking shame that this series came to an end. But maybe if people buy it and spread the word they will put out more Glory.
Time to get my hands on the Vol II
