I’ll have to extend this page since I really didn’t give Lee Dorrian enough credit. Maybe I’ll extend this…But I’ll have to do that after I finish the next chapter. Being able to scan the whole page in one shot is jsut awesome btw.
Hey, I'm Bill and I create art mostly comics and comicbook like illustrations. I'll be posting my art and anything else that I think is cool,interesting or important. Some of my art and the things I post have naked people. The human body can be a beautiful thing and certainly nothing to be ashamed of, but not everyone feels that way and I respect that. I sometimes say crazy shit, please don't take everything I say seriously. Sometimes attempts at humor go wrong, it happens I didn't mean to offend you or oppress you. Another reason I’m happy being 38….
I can remember singing the chorus to “Disposable Heroes” in assembly with Ramon Crespo. Fun times. This was before Load came out and Metallica wasn’t the force that they were. Although to us Metallica was kinda watered down.
Ramon got me into Metallica by taping me Master Of Puppets and is one of the reasons that I drew this page….

I am a huge snob….
this is one of the reasons that I created my comic Inventing the Steel. I created it because I have been around too many people that have no fuckin idea what Heavy Metal really is. When you are calling Gun N’ Roses Metal, that shows me that you don’t really know what Metal is, hell you don’t even know what hard Rock is. So I wanted to do something about this and I thought that I could take my comic that I did for English class and share it with people.

Something that has been bugging me…
I really want to redo the splash page of Inventing the Steel, because I don’t like how the bricks just fade off into nothingness and I think the page could stand alone as an illustration…and I think it would be a really cool poster to have. But I don’t know if I could sell them because its an image of Black Sabbath. And I’d hate to have to deal with Sharon Osbourne. Only Bruce Dickenson can stand up to her wrath.
