Prince sketch….I’ll probably change this around a bit.
Oh, by the way, Guns N’ Roses debut “Appetite For Destruction” turned 25 years old this week. When it first came out my friends and I were floored. We thought this was a band that would last forever. Unfortunately, Axl is a fucking dick and was basically the reason that everyone left. Fuck I feel old now.
Appetite was one of the first albums that I loved. But it was also very polarizing. A lot of the metalheads that I hung out with thought that GN’R sucked. But while I hated the hair metal that a lot of people liked I could hear that GNR was different than Poison and Warrant. Who we fucking hated.
The Hidden Hand-Tranquility Base
Awesome song off of Divine Propaganda, honestly I’ve said this before, but it bares repeating..I think that this is Wino’s best project.
Body Count-Cop Killer
Cop Killer is a punk rock song…its not really metal at all.

John Frusciante playing Under the Bride guitar parts
It sounds like he has a chorus pedal going towards the end of the song btw.
Biohazard-Dynamo 95’
I wish I had seen them with Bobby. I saw them with Rob Echevarria and it was good, but Bobby has more of a stage presence and vibe. Plus the chemistry wasn’t the same.
Oh and fuck all the metal elitists who think that Biohazard is a “Nu-Metal” band. The 2nd,3rd and 4th Biohazard records are amazing. And I like Biohazard better than Leeway…and I’m from Queens.
CRO-MAGS
click on the music link to get The Age Of Quarrel album. Its some good shit and now you have no excuse….
This is where a lot of the fake ass tough guys in metal got their act from. NYHC and Henry Rollins back in the day.
Lamb of God’s 2007 Finland live show I don’t know why I only love there 2nd and 3rd albums. Because all of the Sacrament shit is great too! Honestly I hope that I have some room in the comic to take a closer look at their brand of metal. Because if you listen to their music they break a lot of rules. Mainly in the fact that most of their riffs are really hard to play. Like you aren’t gonna pick a guitar up for the first time and be playing “HourGlass” two weeks later. And all of their riffs are crazy, because the left hand has to do a lot of work too. ANd what is really, really amazing is that despite of having such complex riffs they are so tight. Like Iron Maiden or Pantera tight.
